Addendum from Ben post-sermon:

When talking about Dante Stewart’s memoir Shoutin’ in the Fire: An American Epistle, I incorrectly stated that Trayvon Martin was shot by a police officer which precipitated an expression of grief that left Stewart feeling alienated by his church community. The story I referenced in Stewart’s memoir was actually in response to the death of Alton Sterling in 2016, who was shot by two police officers. I regret the error and thank the concerned member who brought it to my attention.
