During the elders’ retreat (January 22-24), the elders will be praying for every member of the Cole Mill Road Church family. Thank you for your willingness to, in turn, offer up prayers for the elders in a wonderful cascade of prayer and praise to our God.
Prayer has always been a staple in the believer’s diet…and powerful things happen:
Isaiah 38:2 “Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord…” Isaiah 38:5 “…I have heard your prayer…surely I will add to your days fifteen years.”
Acts 4:31 “After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.”
Acts 16:25-26 “About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone’s chains were loosed.”
Additionally, we are lovingly and meaningfully drawn together as a family as we look to our Lord for every good thing. When we cry out to the sovereign Lord, our Lord is gracious and faithful to supply our need.
Please consider participating in the prayer vigil for Friday Jan 24, Saturday Jan 25, and Sunday Jan 26. Sign up for a spot in the prayer chain in the form below. If it's hard for you to commit to a certain time block on a give day, select "other time this day" as an encouragement that we are all in prayer together.
